This Paper investigates Entrepreneurial activity and competitiveness in Europe. Europe is an interesting case because many European economies are among the most competitive in the world (6 of the top 10 Global economies).

However European economies are much less competitive in regard to entrepreneurship. This Paper explores entrepreneurial activity in Europe through geographical, cultural and economic perspectives.

Estonia, Sweden, Latvia, Netherlands and the United Kingdom are the top 5 most entrepreneurial European countries whereas the Southern European countries Greece, Spain and Italy rank at the bottom.
