The Carles Ferrer Salat Awards recognize the work of companies and entrepreneurs in Catalonia. These awards honour the values of businesspeople who are generous, open, and defenders of knowledge and dialogue, like Carles Ferrer Salat, former president of Foment, founding president of CEOE, and former president of the great European sponsor UNICE (now BusinessEurope).

On Wednesday 22 November, Foment del Treball celebrated the 10th edition of the annual Carles Ferrer Salat Awards. With these values we recognize the most outstanding and influential people and companies within the business world.

The R+D Award goes to Barcelona Tech City for its commitment to consolidating the city of Barcelona as an international technological hub and to promoting innovation among the different agents which make up the entrepreneur ecosystem of Barcelona.
