The 2019 call for Industrial Doctorates is open

Effective collaboration between companies (business environment) and one or more research organizations (academic environment), taking into account the definition made in the RGEC and in the R+D+I framework of the European Commission.
On February 25, 2019, Resolution EMC / 394/2019 -as of February 19-, was published. In this resolution, the regulatory bases document for grants for industrial doctorate (DI) was approved.

The purpose of this call is to provide grants to universities, research centers and hospital foundations, as well as companies for the development of an industrial doctorate project, in any field of knowledge or business sector.

These are strategic research projects of companies in which doctoral students develop their research training in collaboration with a university, a research center or a hospital foundation, and are the subject of the doctoral theses.

The entities of the business and academic environment must have a signed collaboration agreement in order to jointly carry out the development of a DI project, in accordance with the procedure of participation in the Plan DI, as stated in the web page. Article 3 also establishes the requirements that both must comply with.
